The Christian Foundation School for the Deaf held their Grand Opening ceremony and ribbon cutting of their new school and buildings. It was a huge event, bringing people from around the community of Ganta and other communities. The week leading up to the grand opening consisted of completing some of the painting of the school building and cleaning, but also games and activities for the deaf students! We brought card games, bubbles, crafts, coloring books and crayons. For the grand opening each student at the school received a pencil case filled with items for them to use in school. Their classrooms were also set up with tables and chairs, white wipe-off boards, maps, alphabets, and other posters. To date there are now 67 students and 7 instructors.
